The Lapidus Evolution with VIRTUGUIDE™ AI Patient Matched Lapidus Correction

 

DePuy Synthes is looking forward to providing you an insightful and engaging experience at the IEP Young Surgeons Meeting! The session will delve into how innovative solutions can empower early in career surgeons to tackle common challenges in their practice. Distinguished faculty Michael Campbell, MD, FAAOS will provide an in-depth live demonstration of the VIRTUGUIDE™ AI Powered Patient Matched Lapidus Correction System, an innovative technology revolutionizing bunion correction through a patient-matched solution, and share how his clinical experience has allowed a reproducible and efficient result for the most challenging of cases. Throughout the lab, Dr. Campbell will rotate tables to offer practical strategies and valuable perspectives for this patient-matched Lapidus technique.

Optimizing Outcomes in Primary and Revision MTP Fusion with the Paragon 28 Gorilla MTP Plating System and PRESERVE MTP Revision System

 

Paragon 28 is proud to host a hands-on cadaveric lab at the IEP Young Surgeons Meeting focused on practical, reproducible strategies for both primary and revision MTP fusion. This session will highlight how thoughtful implant selection, anatomic plating, and revision-specific solutions can help surgeons address common challenges while maintaining alignment, length, and stability.
 

The lab will be led by Amber Shane, DPM, who will share her real-world clinical experience using the Gorilla® MTP Plating System and the PRESERVE™ MTP Revision System. Dr. Shane will begin with a focused talk on indications, decision-making, and lessons learned from her own cases, followed by direct proctoring during the cadaveric lab to reinforce technique pearls and troubleshooting tips.
 

Designed specifically for early-career and young surgeons, this session emphasizes immediately applicable concepts that can be translated directly into clinical practice—combining didactic insight with guided, hands-on experience using

Paragon 28 solutions built exclusively for foot and ankle surgery.
